Dead until dark - third post

Now I have read to page 198, and a lot have happened. The vamp-bar was visited by the police, luckily Sookie and Bill left before that.

Earlier Bill promised Sookies grandmother that he would speak to the decendence from the war. So he did. Sookie was there with her boss Sam, and afterwards they went to get some coffee. When Sam drops Sookie of at her place they do something Sookie did not expect. They kissed. Without a word Sam leaves. When Sookie enters she can feel something is wrong and it was not the kiss. It was something else. A smell… the smell of blood. She runs through the house only to find her grandmother in the kitchen lying dead on the floor. Bill showed up behind her, like out of nowhere. But he did not kill Adele Hale, someone else did, probably the same one who had killed the two girls, who now wanted to kill Sookie.
The funeral was filled with people. Even people Sookie did not know.

Afterwards Sookie stayed home a few days. With Arlene's help Sookie cleared out grams bedroom. When Arlene had left Bill stopped by… one thing led to another and they spent their first night together.
The night after Sookie was working and Bill came in to the bar. As he was about to leave Malcolm and Diane enters. (The vampires from Bills house, se first post.) I am not sure what they wanted but they sure were not nice.
Later Sookie visits at Bills house. She spends the night there only to wake up alone in his bed. She walks out to see Jason in his car. So she gets in. Jason told Sookie that their uncle died during the night. Sookie found that odd, because she told Bill about him yesterday. The uncle had been raping Sookie when she was a small kid. Sookie told her grandmother and never had to see the man again. Later on the day Sookie realize it was Bill who killed him. They got into a fight with one another.

Apparently the three vampires Liam, Malcolm and Diane had been causing some problems around Bone Temps. The humans living there are very irritated, so they burn down their house.  Sookie is worried that Bill might have been in the house. Sam comforts her and together they clean almost every inch of Sookies house.
When night comes Sookie takes a flashlight and walks out into the woods. When she comes to the cemetery she stops. Not knowing why or if he is even there, she calls out to Bill. Up from the ground he comes, covered with mud and dirt. Once again they spend the night together at Bills house.

A few nights later they spend the night together at Sookies house. Bill tells Sookie that Eric (the vampire from the vamp-bar) wants to meet Sookie. She does not like it and to make her stronger Bill want her to drink his blood, and she does.

The fact that Bill sleeps in the ground is fascinating, while other vampires sleep in coffins.
One thing I found annoying was that when the humans burned the vamp-house down they never considered that there might have been humans in the house. Meaning humans are just as bad as vampires.

Next I hope Sookie and Bill will find the murderer. I also hope something interesting happens with Eric.

I believe the author want to create an exiting feeling, making your heart pound faster when something exiting happens. This she does buy writing about deep feelings in intense moments.

When I read the part where Sookie was cleaning out her grandmothers room, it got me thinking. I would never be able to clean out my grandmothers room in one day. It would probably bring up too many feelings.
