Hanna har precis slutat fyran och ett härligt sommarlov väntar. Men när sommaren är slut har något hänt. Hanna har blivit ensam. Alla i klassen har någon att vara med, men inte hon. Inte ens hennes bästa kompis verkar se att hon finns. Ensamheten är hon inte så rädd för, men när ensam likställs med utsatt blir Hannas liv långt ifrån vad det en gång varit. Detta är en bok som handlar om något riktigt hemskt. Men det mest hemska är att det har hänt och händer på riktigt i vårt samhälle.

”Allt efter ett nej

Många beskriver våldtäkt som ”allt som händer efter att någon har sagt nej till sex”. Det finns många situationer när man inte kan, vågar eller känner att det är någon mening med att säga nej men som ändå kan upplevas som våldtäkt. Det kan till exempel vara att man sover, är väldigt full, är för rädd för att säga nej eller märker att den andra personen ändå inte bryr sig om vad man säger.

Allt före ett ja

En annan definition på våldtäkt är att allt före att någon har sagt eller visat att man vill ha sex är våldtäkt. Alltså att man aldrig har rätt att ha sex med någon annan om man inte har fått ett okej från den personen. Ibland kan det vara så att man säger ja för att man upplever att man inte har något val, inte vågar annat eller för att någon är i ett överläge och utnyttjar det.”

Hjärtans fröjd av Per Nilsson

Tjejer och kärlek, hur många böcker med det temat finns det egentligen? Varför kan det inte handla om killar och kärlek. Eller en kille som ser en tjej, en kille som ser en tjej som han vågar prata med, en kille som ser en tjej som han blir vän med? Kan tjejer och killar vara vänner hur som helst?

I Per Nilssons Hjärtans fröjd får läsaren följa just en kille som under några timmar ser tillbaka på det där som hände i våras när han såg tjejen med det röda håret på bussen, och vad det ledde till. Bokens perspektiv skiftar mellan nutid och dåtid och fungerar som ett pussel vars sista bitar inte faller på plats förrän bokens alla sidor är lästa. Du har lagt dig för att sova och är precis på väg in i drömmarnas värld när du plötsligt blir störd av ett kraftiga dån i fjärran. Åskan? Flygplan på låg höjd? Eller, hemska tanke, en bil som krockat? I Sverige kanske… Men källan till dånet som Smilja hör är långt mycket värre än vi kan eller vill föreställa oss.

Smilja är en vanlig tjej, med en vanlig familj, vanliga vänner och en vanlig vardag. Hon lever i Bosnien på 1990-talet. Men när Smilja går och lägger sig är det inte åskan hon hör utan artillerield från kanonerna på andra sidan bergen där kriget mellan serber och bosnier pågår för fullt. Le, Smilja skildrar hur det är att försöka leva ett vanligt tonårsliv i ett land som är på väg att slitas sönder av krig. Där dina vänner över en natt blir ovänner enbart på grund av att ni har olika tro och där alla tvingas uppleva händelser de trodde hörde till historien.

Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson

I have now finished the book "Prom" and now I'm going to tell you my thoughts about it.

I think the book was very good. It was well written and it was easy to understand the story. Even though the author didn't describe the environment very well, I could still understand everything. I think it was a little bit sad that the author hadn't described the environment so much, because you could have got a better picture of Ashley's life if she had. I also think it was sad that she hadn't described what the prom looked like. I got to know the basics, that it looked nice and that it was a complete change from how their gym (where the prom was) had looked before. I wanted the author to describe more about how it looked so I really had understood that "magical change".

The book had a happy ending, and it ended the way I wanted to. The author also wrote a "what happened then?" chapter. In that chapter, the author really described how Ashley has grown through the book, like I wrote the last time. The author also wrote about the "old Ashley" and the "new Ashley", and what different decisions they would have made about the same thing. In that chapter you also got to know which decisions Ashley made, what she decided to do after she graduated. I liked that, because I always want to know what the characters are going to do when the book ends. I don't like when you don't get to know.

I would recommend the book. The language wasn't so hard, which made the story easy to understand, but it was still a little bit of a challenge. The author used a little bit harder language sometimes, with synonyms of words that I never had heard. But I could easily guess what the words meant when I had read the whole sentence.

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz

Now when I'm finnished with the book I can say that the writer did a verry good job at seperating the two diferent worlds that the girls are living in. She is really describing how beautiful the girls in the Blue Bloods are and how easy and fabulous their life is. In the end the writer is really trying to keep it exciting until the verry end, which she manage to do quite well.

Overall I think the book was quite good but a bit boring. It was about almost the same thing through the whole book and it didn't happend as much as I wanted it to do. But I'm happy that I read the book and I can recomend it to others if they want an exciting book about vampires.

Dear John by nicholas sparks

Im gonna tell a little bit more about the three big characters in the book.

John Tyree:

John is the person who tells this story. He is 23 in the story but the story is written in the way that he looks back on the so which age he is when he tells it is hard to know. He tells his past whit words that make me understand that he diddnt have a great childhood but he dont want to complain. He talks mutch about his fater and about his problems, in a loving way. By reading I can see that John really loves his father but he wish that they had a better relationship. John, who is in the army, dosent talk so mutch about his work, he realy fokuseding on the love story insted.

Bill Tyree (Johns father):

Bill is a very speciel person. Even sans John can remember has his father been very quite and reserved. But bill has a big passion in life, coins. Bills father was a coin collector and the passion moved on to Bill. When hn was little his father wanted him to be intresstede in coins to and he was in the beginning but when coins was the only thing they talkt about John gave up. He got really mad at Bill and they nerver talkt about coins agian, they nevers spokt so mutch after that what so ever.

Savannah Lynn Curtis:

Savannah is very important for John. He speaks about her whit well chosen words and his feelings about her is very strong and confusing for him. Savannah is a 21 years old collige student who is on a break so she can build a hous for a poor family. I get the impression that savannah is a nice and polite girle whit very loving parents. She dosent drink or smok and John is very farsinerad about her.

John's and Savannahs realation grows very fast in the two weeks they are together. When John needs to go back to his service in the army thers love needs to be stronger then ever. But can a distence realationship work when the only comunications is in letters?

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz

The writer discribes the persons really detailed. For example she is writing about a girl named Bliss. Bliss is a girl who is one of the more popular girls at the school. She is a verry beautiful girl, with long curly hair and green eyes. She is born and raised in Texas. Her mother died at birth and her father is remarried with a woman who is mother to Bliss sister. Now they're living in a luxurious apartment in Manhattan. Bliss doesn't like their home at all. She thinks they brags to much with all the fansy china and the expensive chandeliers. Bliss really misses her home in Texas even though she fits in quite well in Manhattan. Bliss is one of the few girls who doesn't really think about popularity. She came to Manhattan, she was herself and then all of a sudden she was a part of the most popular sociaty in the city.

Percy Jackson and the last Olympian, 4th post

I have now read the book through and I am pretty happy with the ending, though with a feeling of incompletion and sadness because the last book is finished. One thing I have thought about is a decision Percy made in the end(spoilers!).

When Kronos was defeated, the Gods wanted to thank Percy for everything he did for them and Olympus, and so they offered him immortality. They said they could make him a God, to server under his father Poseidon in Eternity. Percy declined after thinking about it, because he was in love with his friend Annabeth. If he would become immortal, he would live much longer than her, and probably fall in love with lots of others after her, only to get his heart broken again when they died. Sure it tempted him to rise above every hero before him, bask in his own glory, but on the other hand I think it would be pretty selfish to Annabeth.

I think this decision proves him strong far more than everything else he does in the fights, and it makes me think how many people who would refuse such an offer. Personally It makes me sick, thinking about living for thousands of years, but still, I'm not sure what I would have done.
