Dinas mor skämmerskan är förd till borgen i Dunark för att utföra ett uppdrag hon fått i sitt skämmaryrke. Hon ska få en misstänkt mördare att erkänna sitt brott.

Nästa dag blir Dina själv hämtad av en person vid namn Drakan i tron om att hon ska hjälpa sin mor. Hon får reda på att de mördade är borgfursten, hans svärdotter Adela och hans barnbarn Bian, och den misstänkte är borgfurstens yngste son Nicodemus. Drakan är helt övertygad om att Nicodemus är den skyldige, men är det så säkert? Varken Dina eller hennes mor kan se något spår av mordet i hans sinne. Detta tycker inte Drakan om. Dina får tillbringa natten med Nicodemus. Samma natt lyckas de båda fly, efter ett besök från Drakan.

Nu är de båda efterlysta i hela landet.

Measle Stubbs - tredje inlägget

Measle och Leksaksmannen som var verklig gav sig iväg och kollade om det fanns fler personer att rädda. Dom såg en kvinna som var jagad av en tiger. Tigern var en såndär ful plastdocka som inte var riktig. Dom gav kvinnan lite morötter och så blev hon en riktig människa igen. Hon hade en gång kommit och knackat på hos Basil och då tog Basil henne och gjorde henne liten.
Alla tre gick vidare och såg en man med en väska. Dom gav honom lite morötter och han blev då levande. Han var en affärsman. Han skulle sälja något till Basil en gång. Basil ville inte köpa något och skickade ut affärsmannen. Affärsmannen stoppade då foten i dörren. Basil blev helt galen och förminskade honom med. Alla fyra gick vidare för att hitta flera personer att rädda då såg dom en stor och stark man. Hela han var plast men man hörde små andetag genom näsan. Då smulade Measle moroten i småbitar och lät mannen andas in det genom näsan. Det hjälpte. Han var den som byggde modelljärnvägen i början. Basil hade blivit förbannad på att kanterna på bordet var för vassa. Då gjorde Basil samma sak som han hade gjort med alla dom andra personerna.
Alla gick vidare och räddade också en liten scoutflicka som hade blivit tagen av Basil när hon hade sålt kakor för sin scoutgrupp. Hon var ledsen och rädd. Dom gick som vanligt vidare och letade efter fler att rädda. Nu var det svårt, dom hittade mest fula fake personer men tillslut hittade dom en gammal dam. Dom räddade henne och hon sa att hon var en vredesmunksolog.

Vredesmunkologer var personer som åkte runt och studerade vredesmunkar. Dom undrade vad en vredesmunk . Hon sa att det fanns tre typer av magiker.

Twilight - tredje inlägget

Jag har läst 99 sidor. Boken är bra och spännande.

Bella hade fått en bil fast den var inte ny. Och sen träffade hon, Jacob black. Och nästa dag åkte hon till skolan. Alla var snälla mot henne. Hon skulle sitta sig bredvid Edward på biologi. Men han satt inte kvar. Och nästa dag kom han aldrig. Och inte dagen efter heller. Han kom inte på några dagar.  Nästa gång när han kom till skolan. Hände det en olycka. Bella var på väg att bli påkörd men Edward räddade henne.

Stormwarning - tredje inlägget

Jag har läst till sida 75, alex rider undrade hur hans farbror dog, så han började att snoka runt it hans farbrors rum, medans han var på ett uppdrag. Hans agenter såg att han hade en mapp om all information om hans farbror, Agenterna siktade genast på alex rider med en sömn pistol och sköt. Han vaknade senare på ett sovrum, som såg väldigt modernt ut. Genast när alex rider skulle gå ut ur rummet kom det en butler. Butlern sa att han hade lunch med en agent som hette blunt. Alex rider fick inte veta hur hans farbror blev dödad, Tills hans uppdrag blev klart.

Vampire diaries - third post

This time I?m going to write about a lot of things because I can?t decide. I?m
going to make a short summary of what has happened and then I will write some
reflections about it etc.
Right now Elena is at Bonnie?s house and she?s just been bitten by a crow ?
Damon (vampire) as any animal. Fortunately Bonnie?s father helped Elena with
getting the crow away because it was sucking all her blood out from her neck.
Before that happened, Stefan (an other vampire) was out in the forest and
Elena, Bonnie, Meredith and Matt were out looking for him. When they found him
lying in a well full of herbs ? which are used to kill vampires ? he was really
hurt and they had to bring him home.
At home he was so weak and Elena was the only one in the room so she let him
drink her blood and he got better really fast, but Elena got worse. Her face
was pale and her eyes were exhausted.
Even though Elena is in danger because of the beings around her, they are all
lucky to have friends who aren?t humans too. Damon and Stefan are vampires ?
both bad and good ones ? and Bonnie is a nice witch.
When I read that I thought I was going to cry because I don?t want Stefan to
die and their love is so beautiful that you can?t imagine. The worst thing is
that Damon likes Elena too and I think Elena likes him a little bit even if she
says she loves Stefan.
I love this story because it feels so real and it?s so beautiful, but I hate it
in the way that it?s not real and I can tell you that these books are so much
better than The Twilight Saga. They are definitely worth reading.
Just because I wrote so much about Elena and Stefan I?m going to write a little
about them:
Elena is this perfect person with a body sculpture like a model. She has
straight, golden blond hair and blue, clear eyes.
Elena is always honest in what she says and she?s always there for her friends.
She is the one who?s haunted by many vampires, werewolves and witches because
she?s exactly like Katherine who?s haunted by the origins.
Elena?s boyfriend is Stefan and he is the nice vampire who is drinking animal
blood instead of human blood. That makes him the good guy, but I think that
drinking animal blood is just as horrible as human blood. What have the animals
done?
And now? the personal reflections.
I think that the missing of Stefan makes Elena feel nervous about what?s going
to happen next. Everyone thinks that vampires are so much stronger than humans,
but when they disappear or gets depressed you?ll get so nervous because they
are supposed to look strong and callous. And when they don?t, you can see the
truth and the truth isn?t like it is in stories.

Linger - third post

This week I’ve read enormously more than the other two weeks. The new guy, Cole, has shifted into a wolf for the first time and has found his way to Mercy falls, the village Grace and Sam live in.  One day when it’s minus 10 degrees outside he shifts back to human and meet Sam in the wolf pack’s hidden cottage in the forest. Sam doesn’t know who Cole is at the start but then he remembers that three new wolves have been recruited to the pack. In the middle of their conversation Cole’s body notices the cold and starts to shiver and shake. After a minute he’s in his wolf body but he keeps on staring at Sam. A normal wolf would have run away in the moment it got its paws but not Cole. Sam hasn’t got that much information about Cole from the alpha male (because he turned into a wolf a little bit early than expected and he’s so old that he’s never going to changes back to human again.) , but he knows that Cole was prepared for the werewolf life. Beck, the last pack leader, said that he picked the three new guys/wolves for a special reason. And I’ve already written about Cole’s previous life: drugs, parties and big gigs. The author also choosed to tell that he didn’t want to live his own life but hadn’t enough life spirit to keep it up and change it.

The last chapter I’ve read was from Cole’s perspective, and it was about him getting to know Mercy Falls. A new wolf is sensitive to large temperature changes, and this time Cole felt that it was too warm for him to stay wolf. He saw a house and thought of what Sam hade said to him:
“The house has got a fan heater, some food and clothing. In the box that says SAM, something ought to fit.”
Cole was terribly hungry and was freezing like a pig so he went into the house through the back door. I understood it like Cole didn’t think about that it wasn’t a little cottage but a mansion but I guess he was too confused to think relevant. Of course, you don’t wear clothing like a wolf so Cole is in this stage, completely naked and when he hears a girl’s voice in the other end of the corridor he stops. He has been walking in to  Isabel Culpeper’s house. I don’t know if I mentioned it before but Isabel is nowadays Grace’s best friend. Isabel  is one of few persons that Grace and Sam told the whole story about the wolves to. But that’s because her brother got bitten by a werewolf and then he became one himself. In the first book Grace and Isabel tried to cure him and Sam but only Sam made it.
Ever since her brother Jack died because of the-almost-cure-accident, her parents have start fighting every day and night. Her mother ignores Isabel totally or treats her like she doesn’t understand anything. Her father on the other hand always has a lot to tell her not to do, not to behave and not to say. Before Jack’s dead, her father was one of her closest friends but I have understood it like Jack always had been both of their parents’ favorite. He was older, he was extraordinary in school, was successful in different kinds of sports. But most important was that he loved hunting and so did his father. Its wrong word to use but Isabel was a little lonely bit outside the others in the Culpeper family, but it didn’t get better when the families’ star died. They went to therapy in many weeks but Isabel’s mother still doesn’t change her ridiculous behavior and now Isabel doesn’t have the energy to do something about it.
 Isabel is Mercy Fall’s Paris Hilton, with describing words; a real bitch. But not always when she’s hanging out with Grace and Sam. I think that when you’re popular, in the way Isabel is, you don’t get that much friends. You get contacts, but that’s where it stays, so maybe when she’s with friendly Grace and good old Sam she feels more comfortable and relived. She doesn’t need to have the latest Gucci bag or Prada shoes; she’s able to be just Isabel Culpeper. And who doesn’t prefer that?
I think is really funny to read how she grows as a person and gets a stronger self confidence. She has gone from being Graces most hated person in Mercy Falls, to now be her closest friend. That’s a real change and I like it! J
I finish my post with a quote from an “Isabel chapter”:
“I had my usual group of girls who sat around me, eyes painted like mine. Being popular in a town the size of Marcy Falls was ridiculously easy. You only had to believe you were a hot commodity, and you were. It really wasn’t like San Diego where being popular was like a full-time career. The effects of attending the assembly-an hour-long as for the Isabel Culpeper brand-would last for a week.”

Guardians of Ga'hoole - second post

I have read to page 110 now. The things that have happened since last I wrote about

the book is that Soren and Gilfy have become real good friends and  the are planing

to escape from St. Aegolius Canyons. I forgot to wright in the last updating that St.

Aegolius Canyons is not a very nice place. They moon blink (hypnosis) the "orphan"

owls and force them to work and make them  forget their real names. Like Soren his

name was replaced whit number 12-1. Butt Soren and Gilfy have been avoiding to be

moon blinked so they can escape. They have figure out that they need as much

information as they can get to escape, because they are under the ground in caves 

and they need to get to the top so they can fly away. One thing that is absolute 

forbidden in St. Aegolius is to ask questions. Soren did that once and he became a 

offer for what they call a "laughter therapy". When he woke up after the laughter therapy

he remembered that he had fainted and his wings was hurting real bad, when he looked

down at hem he saw that they had ripped off his feathers. Either way Soren and Gilfy

are trying to not get moon blinked and figure out a way to escape from this hell that

they call it. I think that soon Soren and Gilfy will succeed to escape and warn every owl

about this place. But the problem is that I have already seen the movie, so I kind of 

know what's going to happen. The book is still great and very detailed and I can imagine

what he feels and what is happening in that very second! The book is very exciting 

because it is happening something almost all the time and you get to debate so you just

go on reading and reading. Soren is a very smart owl and can figure out stuff and think.

He has a very specific personality and seems to care about other very much, a nice owl.

Coraline - second post

What I have read:

Now I have reached page 96 in my book, and the thing that I thought would happened in the next chapter happened.

Coraline went through the door to look for her parents.

But she had company, by a cat who is a kind of a friend to her.

I haven't mentioned the cat before because I didn't know if it was so important. But now when I know that … it is important I will tell you about it sooner. But now back to the summary.

Well… Coraline and the cat walk together through the long corridor until coraline suddenly sees a woman who stands at the end of the corridor. The woman looked like her real mother so she ran forward trough the corridor.

-          Coraline darling, why did you ever run away from me? Sad the woman who obviously is her other mother.

-          Where are my parents? Asked coralline angry.

-          We´re here, and we are ready to love you, answered the other mother.

And then the other father appeared, he sat in a chair.

-          Come in to the kitchen, he said, I´ll make us some midnight snack.

-          I don't need a snack! Said Coraline courageous.

The other father looked disappointed. But the other mother smiled. Then she tried to fool Coraline by saying that her real parents were bored at her. But Coraline were smart, so she didn't believe that. Ans the other mother takes the key (to the door that leads out) and put it in her pocket.

-          Don't you have a own key on this side? Asked Coraline.

-          No, there is only one key, and one door… said the other father.

-          Hush! Hushed the other mother like he´d said too much.  

-         

After that, coralline was about to go to bed. But she couldn't sleep. So she went out to the garden, and met the cat. And they talked about Coralines other mother:

-          Why does she want me? Asked Coralline.

-          I think she wants something to love, something that isn't her, answered the cat.  Or something to eat, it's hard to tell with creatures like that.

-          Do you have any advice?

-          You can challenge her, there is no guarantee she´ll play fair, said the cat, her kind of thing loves games and challenges.

Coralline asked what the cat mended with that but it didn't answer, it just walked away and said that Coraline should go inside. And that's what she did.

Early next morning, Coraline did not know where she was, until after a while when she realized that she was in the other world.

She pulled on a pair of jeans and a grey sweater with stars on.

When she was clear, she went to the kitchen, and there sat her other father. The other mother wasn't there, She was outside and fixed the doors do keep the cat inside told the other father, he also told that it was nothing there to explore when Coraline was on her way out. 

The other mother had made everything: the house, the garden and all the persons in the house while she waited.

But Coraline went out to the garden either way, she started to walk. After a time of walking, Coraline came till a strange place filled with mist.

Then, she got company again, the cat of cause. 

-          This is a bad place, said the cat, If you want to call it a place… and what are you doing here?

-          I'm exploring said Coraline.

-          Nothing to find here. This is the outside, the part that she didn't bothered to create said the cat.

-          She? My other mother? Asked Coraline, what is she?

The cat didn't answer. They walked forward instead until a house appeared in front of them. It looked exactly like the house that Coraline just left. Maybe she got lost in the mist? Thought Coraline.

-          So, she did this place?

-          Made it, found it, what the difference? Said the cat and ran after a mouse.

Coraline walked into the house, it was quiet and dark. Then she and saw the mirror in the long corridor, and her reflection in it, just hers.

And suddenly a hand touched her shoulder, it was her other mothers hand.

-          Coraline my darling, said the other mother, I thought that we could play some games together now this morning.

Coraline thanked no and asked were her real parents were, and why she didn't see the other mother's reflection in the mirror. 

-          Mirrors, answered the mother. Mirrors can´t be trusted.

She walked into the sitting room and sat down on a big sofa. And took up a shopping bag field with black beetles.

-          Would you like to have some black beetles, asked the other mother.

-          No! You're sick! Yelled Coraline.

-          That's not a way to speak to your mother!

-          You aren't my mother!

The other mother got angry and stood up, and tock Coraline to the mirror. She was taller this time, taller than she remembered. And then the other mother unlocked the mirror with a little tiny silver key. She twisted the key in the mirror, and it opened like a door.

It was dark inside the mirror.

-          You may come out when you're ready to be a loving daughter, said the mother, and pushed Coraline into the mirror, closed it, and leaved Coraline alone in the darkness…

What I think will happen:

Hm… I don't really know what to happen next…? Maybe the cat comes and helps her out? I don't know. Or maybe there is another world in the mirror? No, it would be too complicated.

Describing the cat:

The cat has no name. It says that it doesn't need a one. She will recognize it, and all of the other cats knows who it is any way.

The cat lives in both of the worlds, the real one and the other one. But it can just talk to Coraline in the other World.

The cat seems very strange… it feels like it´s hiding something that it doesn't want to tell, or have permission to…

If I Stay - second post

What I have read:

Mias parents are dead, and Mia is in a bead on the hospital and she does not know where her brother Teddy is, if he is okey or not.

There are a lot things wrong whit Mia. She have a collapsed lung. A ruptured spleen. Internal bleeding of unknown origin. And the most serious, the contusions in her brain. She also got broken ribs. Abrasions on her legs. The nurses comes and goes al the time.

She gets flashbacks of her life and she see, when she had the auditions on Juilliard, the beginning of Mia's and Adams relationship, and the beginning of her relationship with her best friend.

And then also how Teddy and Mia came into the world of their parents.

What I think about what I have read:

The book is really good. The book is quite different compared to other books I have read. I have never read a book with a perspective were the main character is looking down on herself, explaining what she sees.

What I like most about the book is that it jumps back and forth in time. Sometimes she is present at the hospital, looking down on herself and sometimes she takes me back to her life before the accident.

What I think will happen:

I don't know what she will decide, if she stays dead, or if she comes back to life. She has reason to remain dead because she don't know if she can make it without her parents, on the other hand she has a boyfriend how loves her, waiting or her to wake up.
